Homigot Has Some Giant Hands

Yesterday I went with some friends to a small sea town on the Eastern-most tip of Korea called 호미곶 (Homigot). Everyone comes here January 1st to witness the first sunrise of the country in the New Year. This event has been commemorated with the amazing sculpture of two giant hands; one on land and one rising out of the ocean. Even though the weather was cold and very windy, it made for great photos of the choppy rough water. And of course, there’s nothing a nice hot cup of coffee can’t fix.
The town of 구룡포 (Kuryongpo), known for its crabs

Silk worm pupae. Tastes like grass and dirt.

It's actually kind of eerie to look at.
